Computers

Sad to say, I am a computer nerd. I have tried to fool myself for years into believing that I am not, but facts are facts. Computers, the cause of and solution to all of life's problems. (That was stolen from The Simpson's and modified to suit my needs) I would profess that I am not, however, a "hardcore" geek like many of those in my department at school. Unlike them, I can leave them behind. If I was stranded on a deserted island, my computer would NOT be one of the things I would hope to have. I guess that is moot though since there is probably no electricity on the island, but I might could find some way to harness lightning like in Back to the Future. Oh sorry, I'm trailing off. This website has kept me up the past few nights very late. I guess giving up sleep to create a page only your closest friends and family will even look at makes me a nerd, but oh well.

Be sure to check out my start page project. It is my quest to find or design the perfect start/home page. There is more detail on that page. On the Computer Science page, I discuss my experiences in the field of Computer Science. I will graduate in December of this year with my B.S. in C.S. so I at least know what the college part of it is like. The Open Source page is mainly there incase Mike, my friend and co-worker happens to look at my page. He is die hard open source. If you don't know what open source is, take a look. It is all about evil corporations, lies, freedom fighting, and all the other things that make this country great. Finally, on the My Computer page you will find pictures of my computer along with my experiences with building it. My recommendation: buy a Dell or something with a warranty on the complete machine and save yourself some headache. Now get to clicking.
